We based our decision mostly on the fact that we thought an 18 year old would adjust easier to leaving our house and moving to college than a 17 year old. ... Plus puberty and prom and being the smallest in sports through the high school years, all came into discussion too.

Since he was born, I have questioned more moms than I can count (a pert of my job) and I have yet to meet one who said they regretting holding them back-- although I have met many who wish they had.Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01806111444795138169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5821703962726700908.post-91849288617045585112013-08-23T07:08:10.313-07:002013-08-23T07:08:10.313-07:00I read this last night Holly and was too emotional...I read this last night Holly and was too emotional to comment! I loved this. The teacher in me has lots of reasons why Maddox is ready and is going to soar through kindergarten. But I scratch all of those comments because parents need to do what they KNOW is best for their child. Such beautiful words about your sweet boy in this post. I hope you guys have a fantastic year together. There's plenty of time for school...I hope your year is more of a FUN filled one! :)Kerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10261448185892388252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5821703962726700908.post-58585943574805988642013-08-22T09:22:58.012-07:002013-08-22T09:22:58.012-07:00Enjoy your time with him. School is fun and yes it opens so many doors but I feel once they start kindergarten you loose a part of them and the time really speeds by.
I did not send Nicolas to Kindergarten the first year. His birthday is in October and I waited....I do not regret it one bit.
Kellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04104100135764091440noreply@blogger.com
