Yesterday I was home alone and at 4:01 realized Tristan (12 yo and only one who rides bus home) wasn't in the door yet. Then I saw it go back by the 2nd time and he was still no where to be found. So I yelled his name outside a few times, checked all the rooms in the house and in the span of about a minute thought what if maybe he never made it ON the bus in the morning, I mean it was dark out...i was standing at the door watching for feet climbing the bus stairs and even yelled his name out in the morning to make sure he really was on...but I just knew at that point he had been abducted and I was thinking of how I was going to have to go knock on all of the neighbors doors to have them help me find him....how I was a horrible parent being at home all day going on with my business while my child was being tortured by some stranger....and seconds away from dialing 911 when I remembered he had asked my mom the night before to pick him up from school. So a "do you have Tristan?" text to my mom and a simple reply of "yes" and I was back to reality! But OMG I am so bad about that! You're so good at writing your feelings....I agree with that one comment...you should write a book!Kerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10261448185892388252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5821703962726700908.post-2316623815559884562013-03-21T17:10:35.107-07:002013-03-21T17:10:35.107-07:00The part you wrote out about your non-medicated an...The part you wrote out about your non-medicated anxiety, let me tell you, I can relate. Once Kevin was down at my mom's land and he got stuck in mud with my uncle, and I had already planned his funeral, and wondered how I would tell Boyd and when would we sell the house and where would we move...... His 4 hour jaunt turned out to be about 10 hours. I had my mom call the man who owns land down the road and he drove by and said, yep, there are 2 shirtless guys trying to get their trucks out of the mud. And, of course we don't get a cell signal on her land. Anyway, I can relate. :)

I hope you had a fabulous day with your three boys!
I love how you describe Lance's love for the boys.

xoNicollehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02144472105892524890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5821703962726700908.post-52313219691873219062013-03-21T11:49:37.043-07:002013-03-21T11:49:37.043-07:00P.S. again! I just bathed and crawled right back into my minky dot pajamas!

The book turned out great!
I wish I'd upgraded to have it printed as it is posted (rather than how it fits best) but it would have been WAY longer and more expensive that way!
As soon as blog-2-print posts another 25% off coupon, which only happens about once a year, I am going to print the next 2 years!Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01806111444795138169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5821703962726700908.post-31618518510749559272013-03-21T11:44:00.044-07:002013-03-21T11:44:00.044-07:00This post gave ME anxiety and I was out of breath ...This post gave ME anxiety and I was out of breath when I was finished. I'm so glad everything was good with Maddox!! You're totally normal to have crazy-over-the-top thoughts when it comes to chest pains in a 4 year old! I think we would have all reacted the same way! BUT, in the event that you ever end up in Houston for an extended period of time, you and your family are ALWAYS welcome to stay with me! I'm sure there was a reason God put us together, but let's hope it doesn't end up medical related....although I've texted you a few times in panic for your nursey advise! Adorable pictures, as always, and yes, Candi is right...write a book. I'd buy it! Speaking of, you never said how the book your mom had printed for you turned out. (The printed blog...) I'd love to see it and hear about it. Enjoy your snuggle time with your main man tomorrow!!
